The planning process usually takes about 3 months, and building runs 6–10 months depending on size, location, and time of year.

So, how do we start?

Easy. We’ll sit down, talk about your vision, and see if we’re a good fit. From there, we either design your custom floor plan or help you tweak one you already love.

What’s the budget range Chic works with?

Every home is different, but most of our custom builds land between $400,000- $10,000,000. We’ll always be upfront and work with you to maximize beauty + functionality within your budget.

Do I need to find my own floor plan?

Nope. We can start from scratch, build off a Chic plan, or even adapt something you’ve found online. Either way, we’ll make sure it feels like your home, not just a copy-paste design.

What makes Chic different from other builders?

Janessa. She’s one of the only female contractors in the Quad Cities—and a mom. That means functionality isn’t an afterthought, it’s the backbone. But don’t worry, stunning design is always part of the package too.
